About me
Growing up, my household had very different views on health. My dad was a vegetarian and a homeopath, which was quite unconventional in the 80s, while my mum relied heavily on medication and visited the doctor for even minor illnesses. When I was five, I was diagnosed with childhood leukaemia, and thanks to my mum’s insistence on seeing a doctor, I’m here today.
In my 20s and 30s, I didn’t pay much attention to my health. I’d occasionally go to the gym or on a diet, but that was about it. It wasn’t until my mid 40s, after getting involved in health ministries at my church that I started focusing on my health. I want to stay as healthy as possible for as long as I can, so I can help others and enjoy everything life has to offer. That’s when I decided to make my own new start by training as a health and lifestyle coach.
The journey I have been on has been eye opening.
